What is a landing page and why it is useful for any business?

In digital marketing, a landing page is a standard alone web page, created specifically for a marketing or advertising campaign. It's where a visitor ''lands'' after they click on a link in an email, or ads from Google, Bing, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or similar places on the web or landing page is a web page to which visitors are directed from an advertisement or by clicking on search engine results. Landing pages are used for lead generation and are also known as lead capture pages. These pages are designed in a way to convert random or targeted visitors into leads sales.

Unlike web pages, which typically have many goals and encourage exploration, landing pages are designed with a single focus or goal, known as a call to action (or CTA, for short).

Nowadays, landing pages are used in almost every online marketing campaign to capture visitors' personal data such as names, emails, numbers, etc. These pages are designed very differently from normal site pages as they have only one goal which is to convert site visitors into leads.

What is the use of a landing page?
Successful marketing campaigns rely on high-converting landing pages. Landing pages are the best way to attract visitors and convert them into potential leads. But they can take several hours to build- if you rely on designers to design them and developers to build and deploy them.

Different uses of landing pages are:-

a) Use of landing page to get email newsletter subscribers.

b) Directing visitors to a landing page from every ad campaign.

c) Use of a landing page for the promotion of new product launches.

d) Getting registration for webinars.

e) Giveaway of something in return for users subscribers

f) If your business offered a free trial of your products or services then you can use landing pages to get your visitors to sign up for your free trial.

Landing pages are so effective as they increase conversions while supporting the business goal. These pages are significantly designed to encourage people to take action and you can measure the ROI as well with landing pages.
